Streets of Art
The Street Art Festival that took place in Katowice from 20th - 29th of April 2012 has already been the 2nd edition of its kind in the south Polish town. Agnieszka Blazynska and Andrzej Krawczyk take us on a trip through their city and show us how the 9 day festival does also permanently transforms the cityscape.
©Street art in general, has many aspects and it could be immediately noticed during the festival program. Concerts, installations, exhibitions, film shows, mapping, and mural paintings were the main attractions in the event for those interested in taking part.
