Read about the world from the perspective of its youth!
"International Reporters" is an initiative for youth journalism run by the international NGO "The Global Experience" (formerly Solar Net International). The project was developed by an international group of students who met at www.theglobalexperience.org, an intercultural youth network for global education and sustainable development. Currently 40 young people from 22 nations form the IR editorial and share with you news stories, photo series and video reports that aim to give a different perspective on our countries. Our stories portray people with great life stories, share insights into our cultures and show us the political perspectives of young people across the world.
International Reporters aims to be an intercultural learning experience for our readers as well as for our team itself. Therefore our team meets each month in an online conference and once a year in a two week long seminar at our organization's headquarters in Münster, Germany. In our process of learning and enhancing our reporting skills we are guided by professional journalists who review our articles and give us feedback.
