- Born in 1986 in Mogadishu, Somalia, Muhyadin Ahmed Roble started his journalistic career at the young age of 18 in Mogadishu. Today he lives, studies and works in Nairobi, Kenya, but regularly travels back to his home country of Somalia. His focus is on investigating terrorism and reporting as a correspondent about social and political issues in Somalia. Amongst others, Muhyadin has worked as a journalist for Simba FM, AfricaNews and the James Town Foundation. He was an editor for SomaliaReport, an online publication that features Somali issues in English. He is also a member of The Forum for African Investigative Reporters (FAIR). He holds a Diploma in Mass Communication and Journalism from the Institute of Commercial Managment in Nairobi and currently follows a Bachelor of Arts study in Journalism at the United States International University in Nairobi.
